Potter finds his Hogwarts

Potter the lucky feline who received a wealth of support to an appeal to help find ?900.00 to fix his badly broken leg has made a magical recovery and found his perfect home just like his name sake did. Potters new owner Juliette collected the lucky boy on Saturday 13th October 2012 to take him home to join her family and she is already considering a friend for him. New owner Juliette Sewell who hails from Solihull says ?I cannot thank the staff at the RSPCA Coventry & Nuneaton Animal Centre for all their hard work and dedication in ensuring our potter had the best opportunity to make a full recovery and to save his leg. I am so glad we are able to offer him a home and we can?t wait to get him settled in? Over ?1500 was raised from generous well-wishers to help RSPCA staff fund the specialist surgery potter needed to save his leg. Donations came in thick and fast from generous members of the public, with one donation even making it over from France. Caroline Hailstone Cattery Supervisor says ?Firstly we really want to say a massive thank you for all the donations, we were completely overwhelmed with the response to potters appeal. He has been a pleasure to have in the cattery and has responded brilliantly to his treatment. We are so pleased to see him going off to his new home finally after many weeks of recovery?. The RSPCA Centre continues to be overwhelmed with unprecedented numbers of cats needing there help, the RSPCA Branch are urging cat owners to get their pets neutered and chipped.
