Last Chance Animal Action

Three local charities are back out on the animal frontline for last time in 2012 at the Rose Centre, Hope Street, Coventry. The Animal Action Event is the last of 5 events during 2012 across Coventry and Nuneaton which has seen hundreds of pets chipped, neutered and vaccinated. The charities along with Easipetcare Vets are offering pet owners the chance of Free Micro chipping, Free Cat Neutering (conditions apply), Low Cost Neutering Vouchers for Dogs and Rabbits and super low cost vaccinations from ?15. The event will run on Monday 29th October 2012 from 12pm ? 6pm at the Rose Centre, Hope Street. Yvonne Cartwright from Cats Protection Coventry says ?We are so pleased with the response we have had at our joint animal action events, but we know there are still more people out that can take advantage of these fantastic offers and treatments that will not only benefit their pets but every other animal needing a rescue space?. The animal charities are inviting every pet owner who can make it to come along and take advantage of these fantastic offers before the end of the year. Glenn Mayoll Animal Centre Manager says ?2012 has been difficult year for all the animal charities particularly with Cats. At times over the height of summer there were several hundred cats waiting for our help. We urgently need the public to realise that breeding more Cats, Dogs or Rabbits is just stretching rescue centres to breaking point?. ?My centres cat waiting list is still more than 6 months long, and although the summer rush is slowing we will not have cleared the list before it begins to rise again. We urgently need owners do the right thing and get there cat or any animal neutered and we are here to help them do it?. The event is the perfect opportunity for owners who are struggling financially to get some help in getting their pet neutered, chipped or vaccinated.
