Chilli Night Success

Our Chilli Night in Winter turned out to be a great success. We sincerely thank Mark and Julie Marshall of B and K accident repair centre Bayton Road Exhall for their sponsorship of the night. And the 90 people who bought tickets to the event. Everyone was extremely generous throughout the evening. They bought raffle tickets, took part in the small auction and the card game at the beginning. Dave Bauer from Allesley Village who is just starting out in his singing career volunteered his services for free. His singing and guitar playing got the night off to a great start. Our special guest entertainer Steve Jemmott also kept us all entertained throughout the evening with his songs. The Chill and Cottage Pie cooked by Frank Parker went down a treat and many went back for seconds. It was a great success and raised a wonderful £994 which some kind person rounded up to make it a level £1000. Our thanks go out to everyone for helping us to raise this amount. But it would not have happened without Sandra Kite one of our volunteers who organised the event. Thanks Sandra you're a star.
